TRADE? SELL? RETURN A LEASED VEHICLE? It is something many of us do every couple of years.



What do we hope for each time? High vehicle value!

Your vehicles value will depreciate over time. Unfortunately you cannot stop the depreciation, but you can take steps to slow down the depreciation and to maintain your vehicles value.

1. Wash and Wax on a Regular Basis – help maintain the quality of the vehicles exterior
2. Invest in Seat Covers – small investment can extend the life of the fabric or leather on your seats
3. Don’t Smoke in Your Vehicle – cigarette smoke is tough to get rid of or cover up
4. Watch Where You Park Your Car – park away from others, park in the shade
5. Have Your Vehicle Serviced Regularly: especially oil changes, tire rotation and brake pads – keeps everything working properly and gives you the opportunity to replace parts before they go bad
6. Save Receipts and Maintenance Records – shows long term care and provides history on the vehicle
